Books
Things I've read. Notes where I have something to say.
2025
You Can Heal Your Life— Louise Hayin progress
2022
Atomic Habits— James Clear
The identity-based framing is the part that stuck. Systems over goals is a cliché now but it is true.
2021
Tuesdays with Morrie— Mitch Albom
A book about dying that is mostly about living. Read it in one sitting.
The Psychology of Money— Morgan Housel
Money is less about math and more about behavior. Housel makes that case better than most.
2018
Wings of Fire— APJ Abdul Kalam
Required reading if you grew up in India. Kalam makes ambition feel earned, not given.
2012-2015
Famous Five (series)— Enid Blyton
Five kids, one dog, and a new mystery every book. I was seven and completely sold.
Secret Seven (series)— Enid Blyton
Slightly more procedural than Famous Five. I had strong opinions about which series was better.
Geronimo Stilton (series)— Elisabetta Dami
A mouse who runs a newspaper. The books had sound effects printed into the text. I thought that was the most sophisticated thing I had ever seen.
